Dr. Tom Pashby Canadian Academy of Sports Medicine Award. An award of $750 is presented to the authors of the best scientific paper submitted for review and which is related to the prevention, evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment of catastrophic injury in sport. Dr. Tom Pashby Hockey Development Center Ontario Trainer of the Year Award This award is presented to an outstanding individual, chosen from among regional finalists, who has consistently demonstrated dedication and service in the areas of safety and risk management, as well as their contribution to the Hockey Trainer's Certification Program in the province of Ontario . Dr. Tom Pashby Ontario Medical Association Sports Medicine Lecture An honorarium of $750 is given in support of a lectureship presented at the annual OMA Sports Medicine Section meeting in Toronto . Lectures are related to aspects of sports medicine associated with the prevention of catastrophic injuries. |
